Message	Flashstar is right on. There's 3 reasons for oil leaks from the rear main: half moon gasket leaks, rear main is too old, and good new seal doesn't align exactly with the old groove all the time. The offset of the old and new groove doesn't have to be much but get it right. You don't want to do this job twice! PSA I put together a while back.
